Ghosts academic 2024 HEAD - Genève

Ghosts was a workshop taught during the Semaine de tous les possibles 2024 at HEAD – Genève, Haute école d'art et de design.

A ghost is the absence of a body in its physical form to be replaced by a representation of its previous spatial presence. On a conceptual level, a ghost supposedly keeps its original character, but the transdimensional expression of its body [the shaped silhouette] usually stands autonomously. Through material experimentation and acts of subversion, this workshop challenges the relation between objects and their ghosts.

An exhibition with the results of this workshop was held during March of 2024 at Zurich International, curated by BARO, Emilie Appercé, Matthew Phillips and Gregory Tsantilas in collaboration with Andrea Vogel.
